Miami Pride Weekend started out for me Friday night at the Miami Beach Gay Pride Superhero Soiree at the W South Beach from 9pm-midnight. This was a VIP, invitation only, evening that featured a constellation of stars, including MBGP 2011 Grand Marshal and Bravo Emmy Award winner, Andy Cohen, cast members from “The Real Housewives of Miami,” and many more. This event was HOT!! I then headed to Mova for their Block Party starring DJ Brett Hendrichsen. Afterwards I headed to Score for Filthy Gorgeous Fridays, hosted by The Pennyback Boys. Score is always fun, and DJ Mac turned the beats out.
Saturday, was the 3rd annual Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade and Festival and once again record crowds (estimated at 40,000 people according to Cindy Brown) attended this fabulous all day event. I am looking forward to next year already!
Saturday night was the 4th anniversary of Discotekka and the official Miami Beach Gay Pride closing party, Urge, at Ice Palace.
Ok, I have to finally admit it, I am getting old and could not attend these 2 events, but I am told (yes, I do have spy’s everywhere) they were both super successful! Sunday, I went over to my buddy Jason’s house in Oakland Park for a pool party celebrating his birthday. Do you think I had fun there… just look at the pic!

The Australian original 2EROS offers a range of swimwear apparel for men who are looking for slick, clean cut designs that are both stylish and functional. The brand rejects mediocrity and is not afraid to explore beyond typical swimwear color palettes. Conceptualized by Australian designer Jason Hoeung, 2EROS differentiates itself from other labels by consistently delivering quality, unique and eye catching designs, suited for the man who revels the attention of onlookers. Alternatively, Eros, the Greek god of lust and love, symbolically represents sex, male virility and passion. As a result, ‘To Eros’ can also mean ‘to the god of love’, swimwear apparel designed for men looking for a point of difference on the beach, resort or pool party. You can purchase 2EROS at their online store (2Eros.com) or they are available worldwide, and has JUST hit US soil for the first time!
