Last Wednesday, Equality Florida presented their Council Mixer at Thirteen honoring Wilton Manors Commissioner Julie Carson. Carol served delicious Hors D’oeuvres and yummy cocktails. On Thursday, the Stonewall Museum and Archives Wilton Manors location presented “Strike a Pose” a Gay Ballroom Exhibit opening. Check out the pic of my buddy Angel Infiniti, who is the father of the house of Infiniti. On Friday night, we headed down to Miami for Hotel Gaythering’s weekly Bears & Hares party, which as always was hopping. Afterwards, we went to Score’s Filthy Gorgeous Fridays, where the theme was Body Shop. Saturday was a busy night in Wilton Manors starting with the Alibi Luau Party, then heading over to Rumors which hosted a Latino Salud Benefit. We then went next door to Progress Bar where they were celebrating their 1 year anniversary all weekend. Saturday’s theme was Wonderland. Afterwards we headed down to the Ramrod’s monthly Pig Dance, which as usual brings out all the bears, leather men and their admirers. We ended the night at Gary Santis’ 17th annual Black Fort Lauderdale Party at The Manor. As usual the Black Party was packed and featured the hot sounds of DJ Tony Moran and the #1 adult video star Sebastian Kross who was super sexy! On Sunday we started the afternoon at Flip Flops Dockside monthly Tea Dance, which was packed as it is every month. Afterwards we headed down to the 2nd Vagabundos Pool Party, which featured the sounds of my friend DJ AJ Reddy who kept the Miami boys dancing all afternoon. We ended the night at Urge: Labor Day 2K15, which was also the closing party for Mansion and packed in all the circuit boys!

Carol Logen and Bo Sebastian will perform your favorite Broadway songs, dance numbers, and duets at the Fort Lauderdale Center for Spiritual Living located at 1550 NE 26th Street, Wilton Manors at 7:30pm. The song and dance revue, which benefits the Center for Spiritual Living, will be an exciting evening featuring duets from great Broadway shows including Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Wicked, Company, Les Misérables, On the 20th Century and more. Bigger Saturdays at Score presents DJ Isaac Escalante’s birthday bash.
The Manor Complex presents their annual “End of Summer” theme party. This year the party will feature the sounds of DJ Paul De Leon, choreographed productions, novelty acts and of course beautiful dancers. In the Ivy Lounge and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents special guests Erika Norell and Lola Lotus along with the sounds of DJ Nena and HOT Latin Go-Go Papi’s. Saturdays at the manor are from 11pm to 4 am and features NO COVER before midnight and only $5 after midnight for member and $7 for non-members.
Today and tomorrow the Club Fort Lauderdale presents their annual 9 visit coupon sale (only $84), and they will also feature a complimentary poolside luncheon both days at 1pm.

Magic City Casino (450 NW 37 Avenue), Miami’s first casino to offer Las Vegas style slot machines, welcomes Taylor Dayne and Coro at 9pm in Stage 305. Taylor Dayne, pop singer, songwriter and actress, is best known for the Billboard chart-topping hits, “Tell It To My Heart,” “Love Will Lead You Back” and “I’ll Always Love You.” Each of these songs went on to earn Gold single status. The Ramrods 21st Anniversary celebration will take place tonight and they will feature $1,000 in cash and prizes, including a free helicopter ride, a balloon drop at midnight, and 50 CDs of the hit single “Ramrod Muscle” by Bryan Reyes and of course the annual Anniversary Pin give-a-way.
“Two of Kind” is a cabaret and concert act from 7-8pm at The Sanctuary Second Presbyterian Church, 1400 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, starring Brent Kuenning and Steven Geyer – two former New York singers, dancers, and actors with a Broadway, national, and international history. As best friends of similar backgrounds, experiences, and musical tastes their signature show, “Swing, Sing, and Soul” evokes famous male duet partners like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Johnny Mercer, and the Rat Packers. Additionally, the show also includes contemporary music in its repertoire. The show is a joint benefit concert with Stonewall-museum.org and is free, with a suggested donation of $10 at the door.

Alibi has become famous for many things, one of them is their annual turnabout, which takes place tonight with the theme “The Really Desperate Dragwives of Wilton Drive,” and from what I am told will be hysterical. The festivities start at 9pm!
